Lucille has worked for almost three decades as both a freelancer and staff for the UK's leading broadsheets and magazines. She began her career on the Mirror's Saturday magazine, 'M', with her first-person reportage stories, from a school for witches in the Austrian Alps to behind-the-scenes at a Bond premiere party in Cannes.
At 30, she moved to Sydney, Australia, where she worked as Features Editor at Cosmopolitan magazine and freelanced for Marie Claire, New Woman and the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper.
She subsequently returned to the UK to edit the in-flight magazine for airline Jet2.com, commissioning and writing on celebrity, travel, food and culture. Today, she freelances for a wide range of publications and presents travel content for the Australian travel company, Inspiring Vacations.
